So what’s all this Run Walk with Pride stuff about?
Run Walk with Pride is a race made up of three parts: a 4K walk, 4K run, and 10K run. The event is organized by Seattle Frontrunners and was first put together in 1984 to promote health and visibility in the LGBT community. This will be our 34th annual Run Walk with Pride so we hope you join us in the celebration! Event starts at 9AM at Seward Park on Sunday June 4th, 2017.
Do I have to identify as LGBT to participate in the event?
Not at all! We love our allies and everyone who supports the LGBT community. It would not be a Pride event without our friends, family, and neighbors who remind us that we are never alone.
Where is it and when does it start?
The race will begin at 9AM at Seward Park on Sunday June 4th, 2017. There will be a day-of-race registration booth set up at 8AM for any last minute registrants. Please note, that not all day-of-race participants will be guaranteed a race shirt.
But what if I’m not a runner or athletic, in any way shape or form?
You don't have to be anything but LGBT friendly to attend this event! Have you considered a pleasant walk along the route around Seward Park?

Where can I pick up my race bib and goodie bag?
A spectacular team of volunteers will be at Super Jock ‘N Jill on Saturday, June 3rd from 11AM-3PM to hand out race packets to everyone who registered for Run Walk with Pride. In store registration can also be made at this location from now until then.
Can I bring my family, including the dog?
We would absolutely love it if you bought your family to the race! It will surely be a morning well spent. Service animals and pets are allowed in the festivities area as long as they follow leash and ADA laws.
Will there be refreshments provided at the race?
Yes! Broadcast Coffee will be providing water, bananas, and muffins for everyone.
Who does Run Walk with Pride benefit?
As a tradition, 100% of proceeds from Run Walk with Pride is awarded to a local, non-profit, chosen by the Run Walk with Pride Committee, aimed at helping the LGBT community.

I’m currently unable to run or walk, should I stay home?
Only if you need the personal time. If not, please come on down! We would love to see all the wonderful faces that make up our wonderful community.
What does the race shirt look like?
A mock up of the 2017 Run Walk with Pride race shirt will be posted in the coming weeks. Sizing will vary depending on cut so please be sure to reference these size charts if you are unsure about which size to choose.
How does your raffling work? And what are the prizes?
Winners for raffle prizes are selected at random using a random number generator from April 4th through June 4th. During packet pick up at Super Jock ‘N Jill on June 4th we will ask everyone to tear off the number tab on their bibs to be entered in the final raffle announced during the closing ceremony after the race on June 4th. Winners will be listed on the Timing/Awards section of the website and notified via email about how to retrieve their prizes.
We have tons of things to raffle off including free passes to the entire Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, gift certificates to Super Jock ‘N Jill, gym memberships, passes to yoga studios on Capitol Hill, spa packages, and so much more!
Will there be awards given out at the event?
Yes. Trophies will be given to first place winners in the following categories: 4K walk, 4K run, 10K run. These will be awarded by male, female, and youth.
When will the race results be posted?
A physical copy of the race results will be posted on our bulletin board at the event as they become available from BuDu Racing. These will also be accessible on our website under Timing/Awards.
